https://www.twmp.com.mx/2016/12/07/cineplexx-le-canta-al-amor-en-espejos-su-nuevo-album/

http://www.lapoplife.com/cineplexx-espejos/

http://blog.rtve.es/discogrande/2016/11/giran-las-bolas-de-espejos-de-sebasti%C3%A1n-cineplexx.html

https://elsantodelrock.com/2016/10/31/cineplexx-mimosa/

http://www.indienauta.com/disco/cineplexx-espejos-jabalina-2016/

http://www.zonadeobras.com/apuestas/2016/12/14/cineplexx-espejos/

http://assets.rbmaradio.com/panamerika/prueba-esta-mimosa-de-mano-de-cineplexx

AllMusic Review Espejos by Tim Sendra
[-] By the time of 2016's Espejos, Sebastián Litmanovich had been making records under the name Cineplexx for almost two decades. Sometimes gentle electropop, sometimes pastoral indie pop, and in the case of 2014's Florianopolis, bubbling disco-pop, the one constant during that span was the overall high quality of each release. Anything with Cineplexx on the cover was sure to be warm, inviting, and filled to the top with light and sweet pop music. It's no different here, as Litmanovich delivers a batch of easygoing songs that showcase his skillful production and touch on a wide range of styles. He hasn't entirely gotten over the disco bug; tracks like "Hipnotizado" and the very smooth "Besos" have a slow-motion nocturnal feel that makes them perfect late-night comedown jams. Others, like "Sin Control," sound fit for the middle of the night, when the party is in full swing. There are also tracks that exhibit more Latin influence than he's shown in the recent past, with a strong bunch of swooning ballads like "Manipulador" and "Gran Dolor" sporting melodies that sound very traditional and romantic. The rest of the album is very slick, very sophisticated modern pop that has synthesizers rounding off the sharp edges and lots of vocal harmonies to provide a pillowy cushion. It's all a little more professional-sounding than much of the music Cineplexx has made, but it doesn't really suffer for the extra layer of studio gloss Litmanovich applies. The warmth of the melodies comes through no matter how shiny the surroundings, his intrinsic tenderness survives the process, and the songs have the same sneaky good hooks that Cineplexx songs and albums have always had. The styles may change and the approach may be a little different, but fans of the band and Litmanovich can rest assured that the quality will stay the same if Espejos is any indication.

http://noesfm.com/video-cineplexx-muestra-mimosa/

Have you heard? Cineplexx is back! "Te Quiero" seems to be a little story about obsession, told in the cutest, most charming way. Musically, it's a Latin-flavored pop track with a bit of disco, a bit of funk, and a lot of fun. Playful, danceable style.

http://www.twmp.com.mx

http://panamerika.fm

Florianopolis it's a success, accomplishing much more than Daft Punk in a seamless and effortless melting pot of genres, both retro and contemporary, that feels natural and organic. The result is a Latin infused throwback to disco's glory days but with enough of a contemporary edge to make the whole sound fresh and up to date. If you have any form of interest in disco or would just like to hear what Daft Punk could have achieved had Random Access Memories been more focused, then be sure to check out Cineplexx's Florianopolis, as sure deserves to get the recognition and attention other artists in the nu disco movement are getting.

Cineplexx - Cosas De La Vida Normal.
Rather catchy, don't you think? Now dance! / Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service

Cineplexx - Perfume (Indie Shuffle). It is a soft and pillowy portrayal of what is lovely and carefree in the indie pop world. Perfume takes off with my favorite single, "Cosas de la Vida Normal," and from there Cineplexx takes you on a journey of dream-filled ecstasy. It's as if you've landed on a planet of cotton candy skies and funnel cake trees and all you need to do is lay on a black sand beach with the warm sun and cool breeze. Perfume very much takes on the island life. It's breezy, laid back and classy. Many a moraca is played while delicate guitars strum their way to blissful oblivion, and the vocals serenade you into a peaceful twilight. / http://www.indieshuffle.com/cineplexx-perfume

Kind of like Air did with Moon Safari, but with a more consistent atmosphere throughout, Perfume creates an electronic throw back to the 60s. "Cosas de la vida normal" de Cineplexx es una canción que destacó recientemente en nuestro web surfing. Video: Cineplexx drifts towards paradise with “Crawl o Mariposas”
With its ebbing, Hawaiian breeze (minute long) intro, kaleidoscope affects and simple repetitions, the playful and dreamy queerness of this track is enough to set any bearded pirate lover on a long quest into forbidden seas. It kind of reminds me of Matias Aguayo’s “Ritmo Juarez” video only in its thematic palm tree aesthetic. Otherwise, I’m not sure what to classify this bad boy as. Let’s just call it perfect. Straight from their forthcoming 8th album release Perfume (expected early in 2012), if you count the blip experimentation debut, Cineplexx otherwise known as Sebastian Litmanovich, his brother and friends aren’t afraid to perplex on “Crawl o Mariposa.” / BY Jose Benavides | October 2011

Cineplexx 'Cosas de la Vida Normal'. Right from the start of this track, the beat is sure to get you moving. CINEPLEXX GIVES MASTERCLASS IN REMIXING: ...In doing what few producers seem to be able to do, Cineplexx has taken the song, remained true to it in its structure, feel, and music, yet still transforms it into something that is totally transcendent of the original. Both songs are great works and worthy of several listens, though most IYS listeners (and writers) would probably take Cineplexx's interpretation any day. It is in many ways the golden ideal of remixes: it sports a solid song choice (one that is both catchy and pliable), retains great musical sophistication, adds its own musical flare, drives it with a present and compelling beat, and really manages to hold the listeners interest... Cineplexx. 'Cosas de la Vida Normal' is too good a track to miss out on. Litmanovic plucks elements from all over the place on this song. You can hear the quirky ye-ye pop from the 60s, you can hear sunkissed psychedelia, you can hear Stereolab, you can hear dreampop and overall you can hear an elegantly gliding pop track of the kind that not enough people make. It has hooks, class, rich and exotic instrumentation, it has all the elements that should constitute great pop records.

Cineplexx – “Crawl o Mariposa”. With a focus on guitars and synth-infused pop, his sound is a blend of psych-pop, culturally eclectic folk, and post-rock; it’s not too distant from the engrossing DIY pop of R. Stevie Moore or Ariel Pink. ”Cosas de la Vida Normal”, the first track on Cineplexx’s upcoming album Perfume, it resembles traditional dance-pop of the ’60s, like polka on psychedelics, and the video for the tropically lush “Crawl o Mariposa”, a mellow piece of paradise also on the upcoming Perfume. / Mike Mineo March 21, 2012 OBSCURE SOUND

Cineplexx - You're In A Bad Way (Saint Etienne cover) septiembre 2011. / PLAYGROUND MAG

Notodo, by David Cano, Oct. 2009

Nuevahola (CD review) ...There’s a definite Glasgow connection with the sound which is a spacious, filmic affair that goes from lush and sweeping to fragile and introspective via all the aspects of 60’s and 70’s pop. “Nuevahola" also includes a dust bowl, weather-beaten version of “Paint it Black” the like of which you’ll never have heard before. / Nextbigthing.blogspot.com by Lindsay Hutton, August 18 2009

Nuevahola (CD review) ...4/5 stars **** The sunny weather manages to bring out a surprise summer soundtrack. Sebastian Litmanovich is an Argentinian in love with indie-pop with a latin lilt. Nuevahola (CD review) ...From a record that took a mere twelve years to collate, Sebastian Litmanovich at long, long, long last releases a sort of Best Of album. These aren’t the Cineplexx A-Sides, you see, they’re a medley of the Argentine graphic designer’s more peculiar moments: the thirteen brightest demos and trinkets from his six installments to date. “Mejor,” however, is the newly-recorded lure, the one the fans will isolate from the download and be keen to get acquainted with. And talk about jewel in the crown: the dreamy haze and Spanish pop fit the recent hot weather like a glove, leaving me with a strong urge to say, “fuck it” and head to the beach. As bronzed and decadent as Richard Hawley and with more than just a little hint of hula, “Mejor”‘s lazy chords and unstressed snare drums are just what the doctor ordered—something to take your mind off the bad shit besieging the world at the moment. In his floaty lilt from the heart of Barcelona, Litmanovich conjures the dream sounds of sixties chill, transporting you to a time where open convertibles and free love flowed like the warm summer sun. It might sound a little fey to the white knuckle gang, but given that there’s not much flowing at the minute except for the steady spread of pig disease, I know where I’d rather be" - www.cokemachineglow.com

Mejor (Single song review) ...Cineplexx's new single, "Mejor," a lush breeze of hazy guitar strums, enchanting Spanish coos, and soothing waves of percussion. Picnic (CD review) "You may not have heard of Argentinean-born Cineplexx (a.k.a. Sebastian Litmanovich), but that doesn’t mean that he hasn’t spent the majority of his 34 years making music. His ninth full-length, Picnic, features simple pop music with little inner complexities (think: The Beach Boys meets Belle and Sebastian). Tracks like “Droga Paliativa” infuse with ’80s style synths and electronic-driven pop, while the title track (which features Half Japanese’s Jad Fair) masterfully layers a folky organ with twitchy guitar and chimes. Like dreamy landscapes sung in Spanish, Litmanovich’s melodies evoke all kinds of emotions" - XLR8

(cineplexx interview on Picnic)...Escape Artist: CINEPLEXX - Picnic. story by Kory Grow /www.paperthinwalls.com
...In 2005, Sebastián Litmanovich, a.k.a. Cineplexx, was a minimalist electronic musician looking for a way out. The Barcelonan was playing glitchy scratches and rhythmic beeps at places like Spain's Sónar Festival, an event dedicated to "advanced music," but would be listening to Television and the Velvet Underground in his private life. He left his life of clinical bloops behind for the sunny, summer treat of seventh album Picnic, an album full of lush, catchy psychedelic bedroom pop, accented with colorful, otherworldly whispers about sleep, dreams and recreation. Many of the songs are about escape "in a positive way," says Litmanovich, after apologizing for English being his second language. "That's why I thought it was appropriate to reinforce this concept of 'picnic,' because a picnic, after all, is a kind of escape. You can go with more people and just have fun and share a moment or a fried egg." Paper thin walls (read the complete interview...)

Picnic (CD review) Twee as Ducks: Indie Pop Summer Crushes 2008 June 25th, 2008 | On his 9th album Picnic he divested himself of almost all his previous sonic baggage and dove headfirst into indie pop, trading squiggles and bleeps for lush vocal harmonies and loads of jangle. He also roped in Norman Blake, Jad Fair and Duglas Stewart (which is pretty darn heavy company) and wrote a batch of melodic, misty and pastoral tunes that are about as lovely as can be. Picnic (CD review)
Cineplexx - warm and friendly pop for a springtime picnic. April 17th, 2008 by Knut
“Picnic” is Sebastian Litmanovich’s fifth overall album and his debut on Portia, and here he is helped by Duglas Stewart (BMX Bandits), Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), Jad Fair (Half Japanese) and Federico Aubele (all of them have co-written songs or performs on the tracks on the album). Sebastian’s music has a lot in common with especially Stewart’s and Blake’s music, so they seem to be the perfect collaboration partners for Cineplexx. If you like Belle and Sebastian, The Radio dept, BMX Bandits, Camera Obscura, Little Name, Jens Lekman, Flaming Lips, Teenage Fanclub or the Beach Boys, you’ll love Cineplexx. It’s a wonderful album, and a perfect companion to the coming days of Spring. The albumtitle is perfect. “Picnic” is the exact image I get in my head when I’m listening to this album. I see myself resting on the grass on a warm spring day, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and Cineplexx is playing somewhere in the background. Mmmm! “Picnic” is a wonderful collection of pop songs, with Sebastian’s warm and almost whispered Spanish vocals in front (except on “Tiger Trap” where Duglas Stewart sings). The album is full of pretty melodies, lush strings and harmonies, but far underneath all the niceness, you’ll discover more noisy, fuzzy and strange elements, - sometimes also darker - , which makes the album more interesting in the long run. The title track, where Jad Fair is involved, is almost psychedelic in its playful and dreamy arrangement. Wonderful! This is one of the album’s really strong sides: The more you listen to it, the more you’ll discover.

RESTAR (CD REVIEW)
...Cineplexx welcomes the listener into the intimate atmosphere of the evening when this album should be played. the music on this album it's only for intimate home listening. Sounds that are slowly appearing from the background and often they're forming a specific dreamy ambiental aura around the tracks. Sounds very dreamy and may put the listener in a state of lucid dreaming, it's something I haven't heard often and on this album Cineplexx is doing that in a very nice way, making a kind of 'good night' music to sleep by. Music that is not connected to any concrete genre or style, but still it has elements of some of them, even a special kind of, let's name it, 'lucid dreaming techno music'.
VITAL WEEKLY (BR)

RESTAR (CD REVIEW)
...Cineplexx is a solo-project hailing from Barcelona, which composes a minimal sound filled with experimental and ambient elements. There’s a kind of cool space-like sounding atmosphere running through the tracks. That’s for sure one the main characteristics of “Restar”. The songs have been made by the fusion of samplings, electronics and guitar. The “Edredón” is my favorite one, especially for its ambient mood. This is a quite accessible release in a minimal style...

RESTAR (CD REVIEW)
...Low key electronics. It isn't ambient techno, that implies a bouncier style. Instead this is more like active Beequeen. Buzzes swirl around while a light keyboard melody ties it together. No real beat, but you can still sense their rhythm. There are beats at time that are actually quite compelling, but this isn't in the techno realm, think more like Oval or Coil in the way that this is electronic music with out the eletronica..
Don Poe, EAR/Rational Staff Reviewer (september 2006)

RESTAR (CD REVIEW)
...Though Barcelona-based Argentinean Sebastián Litmanovich (aka Cineplexx) is joined by guitarists Sebastián Kramer and Martin Litmanovich on a few cuts, Restar is a largely solo production of emotive electronic-pop atmospheres. There's enough pristine whirr and click in Restar's nine tracks to keep the minimal enthusiast happy though folk and ambient moments surface too. In addition to crisp beats and melancholy shimmer, Litmanovich appears to have a soft spot for the Theremin, judging by its repeated warble: its quiver emerges amidst a textured mass of tinkles, throbs, and clicks on “Cucharita” and oscillates alongside harpsichord melodies in the ambient setting “Escape.” He maintains interest by incorporating contrasts of mood, from the relaxed gallop of “Buenas Noches” to the haunting moodscape “Edredón” and ponderous drone “Sleep.” In a welcome change from the norm, arguably the strongest piece appears last: “Bosque” a robust parade of Chain Reaction rattle, tinkling piano chords, and textured noises.
TEXTURA.ORG (september 2006)

RESTAR (CD REVIEW)
...is a neat kaleidoscope of clicks and tones that recalls the early days of low-impact Techno when minimalism could still be counted out in minims. About two tracks in, this gives way to brittle swirls of sound and slowly flickering emotions, just lively enough to hold the attention longer than you´d expect on "Edredon", one of two tracks to feature rough beats and treated guitars. The tempo starts building again on "Desagüe" and the full-bodied pulsing of closer "Bosque"..
THE WIRE, Ken Hollings (september 2006)

RESTAR (CD REVIEW)
Barceona is the home-town for the Testing Ground label as well for the musical solo-project Cineplexx.
Sebastián Litmanovich, born in Buenos Aires (1973) is the driving force behind this band. He made some albums under various other names, such as Amarena Incident (post rock), and Portatile Room Mobile (covers).
Sebastián Litmanovich got some help from his old friends, like Sebastián Kramer and Martin Litmanovich on his latest output entitled Restar. The first impression is that this album is rather techno/dance orientated, though clicks, guitar and piano can be found here occasionally as well. The music is centered around beats that are relatively calm, warm and sort of dry. But it's not a typical dance album, therefore the music is too relaxed and the beats are too dark and too slow. It's a gentle rhythmic
output for listening at home or as lounge decoration. Recommended to those couch potatoes that like complex rhythmic structures with a refined touch..

VITAL WEEKLY 483 PODCAST.

ROJO & TACHAN (CD compilation by Nosordo)
How do you get noticed when your compilation must compete for attention alongside so many others? Put Latex Pussy by German artist Boris Hoppek on the cover, for starters, and then ensure that the music accompanying it captivates too. Generally, that is the case on Rojo.Tachan.Nosordo, a 77-minute, fifteen-track co-operative venture (only two pieces previously released) from the Spanish magazine ROJO and the Nosordo label, primarily because it's a decidedly more folk-based collection than is the norm, with guitar the predominating instrument.
Some pieces hew to a drone style (the crackly violin loops of Kristine Barrett's “Marie Rosa” and the rippling haze of Gregg Kowalsky's “Egress Regret”) while others favour a more traditional yet equally engaging approach; Conduo Orchestra's “Referencia” starts out as a static, glitchy setting of guitars and piano but gradually escalates into a swaying, trumpet-enhanced hoe-down. The bluesy slide melancholia of Det Svenska Folket's “Lang Ferd” is especially effective, as is Ljudbilden & Piloten's lovely “Martin, gracias por la guitarra,” with its delicate guitar plucks sweetened by the soft touch of a melodica and caressed by horns. Contributions by Tuk (Belgian artist Guillaume Graux), Kama Aina, Gros, and Cineplexx (Sebastian Litmanovich) are all credible too.
Rojo.Tachan.Nosordo also includes abrasive settings (Son of Clay's eight-minute dissonant noisescape “Spring to Come” and Henrik Rylander's relentless tsunami of grinding bulldozer pulses, “Transmission of Mechanical Influences with Repetition and Happiness”) which do add contrast but also sully the nuanced and understated ambiance cultivated by the other pieces. Argentinean artist Luis Maurette's “In Between (edit),” a hazy, industrial collage of breathing sounds and field elements, is more palatable but it too pales when heard alongside the eminently more musical “Martin, gracias por la guitarra.” Despite such caveats, the collection offers more than its share of affecting moments. ROJO & TACHAN (CD compilation by Nosordo)

Scandinavians Nosordo label releases this compilation in co-operation with the Spanish magazine Rojo - global village anyone? As far as I can see and hear there isn't a theme of any kind connected to this CD, so that this is just a well-packed bunch of laptop artists that also like to tinkle on their guitars ('file under: experimental electronica/electro acoustic/neu folk'). This means that alongside the introspective guitar doodling of Ljudbilden & Piloten, we find Henrik Rylander harsh rhythmic Pan Sonic like grooves. From the rockmusic of Tuk to the glitches of Greg Kowalsky (Osso Bucco) or Conduo Orchestra. From a radioplay set to rhythmic music from DJ Rupture to the more or less serious composed music of Son Of Clay: it's a true hotchpotch of styles, but they all remain in the world of alternative popmusic, be it with guitars and drums or with laptops. Filled with seventy-seven minutes of music, this is a true guide of what's going on in the world of less difficult, yet still firmly alternative music. ROJO & TACHAN (CD compilation by Nosordo)

"Rojo - Tachan" is a collaborative effort between the Spanish audio magazine Rojo and Norwegian label Nosordo. What does it present, you ask? Hmmmm.the short answer would have to be, favourite tracks by the CD's compiler Tomas Melinder. The long answers is a little bit different. These tracks have very little to do with each other. Other for the fact that each one somehow - in its small little way - attempts to break some barrier and can easily be called new music [or dangerous pop music, if you prefer the term]. Son of Clay and his "Spring to Come" gives us a dense, processed fuzzy guitar sound sculpture that makes you all squirmy in your stomach. Tsukimono's "Small is Beautiful [For E.F. Schumacher]" is at the other end of the spectrum. Their whirly guitar schisms are like some sort of an amplified hummingbird flying in front of our ears. Further on, Cineplexx's "Blue Glue" is a melancholic wonder of acoustic delights. Kritine Barrett "Marie Rosa" is a delightfully light piece that features overlapping violins and a stimulating vocal that takes you away to another continent. The compilation ends on a sour note with Gros, who give us an interpretation of an acoustic version of heavily swooshy guitar. The cherry on top of the music is the gorgeous latex pussy cover designed by Boris Hoppek. It's funny how the term post-pop came about in certain press material that arrived with the CD. What's next then, you ask? Post-music or just simply pre- void?

Distancia, Beisbol, Tres DVD performance / cineplexx, glaznost, aBe, Neasden Control Center & Wevie Stonder.
This year's MECAL Barcelona International Short Film Festival held it's first ever Live Cinema session, presented by ROJO.
Alongside more traditional films competing in the Festival, ROJO presented a trilogy of experimental short films which mixed audio, film and graphics. Located two floors below the ground, the Auditorium was a fitting location for live audio-visual symphony which was ROJO.distancia.beisbol.tres.
Packed to the rafters, those without seats sat in the aisles, or perched on arm-rests. As the lights went down, the projector flickered into action and the magic began.
The show was a mix of digitalised visual and sound technologies edited and projected in real time, bringing together Neasden Control Centre motion graphics and Abe visuals with audio from Glaznost, Cineplexx and Wevie Stonder. Half-lit by the bluish light from their monitors, the artists were deep in concentration, as they put together this unique event in front of our very eyes. Their diverse styles and influences complemented each other to create a deliciously dizzying performance.
As the lights came up, the crowd erupted into applause and lingered in hope of a second helping. Instead they got to take home a free DVD, as a souvenir that they witnessed one of the first public forays into Live Cinema.
As hard- and software increases in speed, visual artists are catching up with the real-time editing capabilities of laptop musicians. The ability to manipulate and generate images instantly is creating a new performance art in the realm of electronic pop culture. As this event demonstrated, experimentation with samples and computers creates a show as unique as real and as unpredictable as any concert or theatre play...

Electrocardiograma / cineplexx
The raw muscle of human emotion meets the cold circuitry of modern anatomical medicine, courtesy of Argentina´s Sebastian Litmanovich, whose songs come packaged with a disembodied red heart on its cover and a sequence of electrical pulses on the accompanying insert cards. Subdued meditative compositions, delicately strummed on an acoustic guitar, are enhanced by a melancholic universe of electronic effects. Slide guitar echo and chime deep into the darkness, while korgs drift in and out of the crepuscular mix. Sounds to accompany the slow death of feelings once fondly remembered.
THE WIRE, january 2002 #215, Ken Hollings

"CINEPLEXX Electrocardiograma ****
Electronica is sounding awfully homogeneous these days, but Argentine muso Sebastian Litmanovich -- the sole member of Cineplexx -- is definitely onto something. Comprised of spartan beats, rustling background noise, celestial slide guitar and the unadorned honesty of Litmanovich's voice, the music of Cineplexx is not only unique, but deeply affecting. Electrocardiograma is eerier than 1999's Posologia, as Litmanovich continues to find that precarious balance between the brave new world of electronica and the gritty mythology of folk."

"....For bands like Mouse on Mars and Matmos, exploiting this old style affords another opportunity to confound listeners. Other artists, however, strive to evoke the rural montages conjured by old-timey folk with modern frills, of course. On Posologia (1999) and the newly released Electrocardiograma, Argentinean songwriter Sebastian Litmanovich who records as Cineplexx casts a more mesmeric version of folktronica. With whispered Spanish vocals and wind-blown production, Litmanovichs records are vivid evocations of a desiccated Patagonian landscape...."

CINEPLEXX POSOLOGIA (ALBUM REVIEW)
Somewhere between delight and horror lies Cineplexx, the new project from up-and-coming Argentine electronic musician Sebastian Litmanovich. On one level, the music on Posologia is the stuff of dreams -- ghostly, breathy Spanish vocals that could have been recorded in a hollow cave weave around sluggish rhythms, woeful, nearly subliminal keyboard/guitar melodies and an almost transparent array of intelligently arranged samples. But slowly, the nightmare rolls in, as a disturbing, off-kilter wash of ambient noise echoes throughout each piece, enveloping, consuming, and blurring the distinctions between post-rock, jazz and techno textures. The end results are at once soothing and unsettling, but it's that bizarre juxtaposition of causes and effects that makes Posologia such a unique and darkly alluring piece of work.
